There are 9 overall, which should provide a variety of choices for the citizens to choose from. All are well maintained, and a few of them even display that "small-town church family" feel that is prominent throughout the community with their rich history, architecture, and locations. All of the churches above are active in the community and hold many food, clothing, and assistance drives throughout the year to donate to reputable causes such as Toys For Tots and The Salvation Army, as well as offer after school daycare services for younger children and youth-programs for the local teenagers to offer them a place to meet and socialize due to the lack of such places in town. All of the churches also offer vacation bible school programs in the summer for children aged 5 to 18 years old, and reportedly always have a maximum turnout from the local youth and children on a yearly basis. Weaknesses Although there is a wide variety of choices for the townspeople to choose from when it comes to churches and denominations, its small size may prevent them from gaining a large number of members in each one and expanding their influence throughout the town and underlying areas to draw peoples attention to them and gain more members. Also, there is no parish nurse at any of the above churches and locations, which one again adds to the deficit of health care that the citizens are exposed to. |
